KARACHI: Director General (DG) Rangers Sindh, Major General Muhammad Saeed on Wednesday chairing a high-level meeting on law and order situation in Karachi, ARY News reported.
The meeting reviewed the progress of plans implemented for bringing improvements in overall law and order situation and security measures ahead of the final match of the mega cricketing event, Pakistan Super League (PSL) 4 in Karachi.
Additional Inspector General (AIG) Karachi, Commissioner Karachi, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Traffic, AIG Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and other high-level officials also attended the meeting.
Special security measures will be made to void any terror-related incident during matches scheduled in the metropolis. The meeting decided to make fool-proof security measures for the upcoming match of PSL 4.
According to PSL 2019 schedule, overall five matches will be played in Karachi from March 7-17 including qualifier, eliminator and the grand final.
