LAHORE: Punjab minister for Information Syed Samsam Ali Bukhari on Friday said that the provincial cabinet has approved Ramazan relief package in its meeting today, ARY News reported.
In a press briefing after the cabinet session, Bukhari said the common man will feel relief in the holy month of Ramazan.
Bukhari said that Chief Minister Usman Buzdar is taking decisions according to the vision of the prime minister. He denied any move about the change in the provincial cabinet.
He said the reports about the performance of ministers submitted to the chief minister who is authorized to take decisions in accordance with the vision of the prime minister.
Bukhari said the cabinet in its session also approved the Punjab Local Government Act 2019. It also approved the anti-dengue programme.
Moreover, the cabinet passed Punjab Animal Health bill and decided to setting up Punjab University of Technology in Mandi Bahauddin, information minister said.
The cabinet session also approved health and population welfare programmes and a clean water project, Samsam Bukhari further said.
Provincial cabinet discussed and decided the name of Talib Rizvi as the new chief of the Bank of Punjab, the minister said.
The cabinet also decided to hold regular meetings on every fortnight, he added.
