KARACHI: Mayor Karachi Wasim Akhtar has urged the Pakistan Cricket Board to hold Pakistan Super League final in Karachi, and assured the PCB of all cooperation in this regard.
In his Twitter message, the mayor said if the PSL was arranged in Karachi it would be a great success.
I offer @TheRealPCB to hold #PSL2017 Final in #Karachi, we will cooperate in every way, if it happens it will be a Great Success.

However, PSL chairman Najam Sethi insisted of late that the final of the league’s second edition will be played in Lahore even if foreign players refuse to tour the country.

Sethi said that the nation wants international cricket to return to the country, adding that terrorists would never succeed in their ill motives.
He admitted that the foreign players had expressed their concerns over security situation following the suicide blast which killed at least 13 people.
He went on to say that Pakistan Super League is the country’s asset and their hopes are pinned on it.
