Atleast Six dead after van collides and catches fire in Kohat

KOHAT: A van caught fire near Khawasi Banda in Kohat due to gas leakage, leaving six passengers dead and other six injured, ARY News reported on Tuesday.
On the way to Dera Ismail Khan, the passenger van suffered a gas leak that caused the fire. The vehicle after catching fire collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction, which left two passengers inside the vehicle injured.
Traffic on the Indus Highway was suspended soon after the incident, the police said.
The injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital.
On Monday, in another incident, seven people lost their lives and four others were injured after a truck rammed into a passenger van at Attock motorway interchange.
