Indian singer Sonu Nigam has sparked a controversy once again by posting a two-minute video, ostensibly from his house, in which Azaan can be heard in low voice.
This post seems an attempt to clear the air about perception people had created that he was against Muslim call of prayer after he had wrote a post on his social media account which hurt many and drew criticism from across the world.
This time Hindu extremists have started taking Sonu to task for presumably supporting Azaan.

Earlier, the Bollywood singer had written on his social media account, “God bless everyone. I’m not a Muslim and I have to be woken up by the Azaan in the morning. When will this forced religiousness end in India.”
Sonu Nigam had to face backlash from different segments of society, mostly from Muslim population, over this statement.
Later, he clarified on Twitter that he has never said badly about any religion and all he wanted to tell was to stop using loudspeakers whether in temple, gurudwara or a mosque.

“And dear everyone, for those who are tainting my Tweets anti Muslim, tell me 1 place where I have said anything related, & I’ll apologize.”
“When I am talking about Loudspeakers, I did mention Temples and Gurudwaras too. Is it that hard to comprehend? Loosen up guys,” he tweeted.
“I don’t believe in any temple or gurudwara using electricity To wake up people who don’t follow the religion . Why then..? Honest? True?,” he said in one of his tweets.
