MUMBAI: A rumor is in the air that Rishi is suffering from third stage cancer, due to Rishi Kapoor & his family’s absence at his mom Krishna Raj Kapoor’s funeral which was held on Monday. It is reported that they are in USA for Rishi’s medical treatment.
Speaking to one of the leading newspaper, Randhir Kapoor said, “This is all rumor. Rishi at the moment is fine. As he is in great pain, he will be undergoing tests tomorrow. He did discuss it with us regarding his health.”
Reports about the actor had gone viral after Rishi along with his family, Neetu Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor missed the Kapoor family’s matriarch Krishna Raj Kapoor’s funeral.
Last week, Rishi Kapoor also informed his fans on twitter about his visit to US related to some health issues & treatment.
Rishi, the 66-year-old actor recommended his fans not to worry on any baseless problems. However, even his request went in vain, rumors are widespread that the actor is suffering from cancer.

Rishi is accompanied by his wife Neetu and son Ranbir to the USA for medical treatment.
Randhir Kapoor further added, “Let him go through the tests peacefully; whatever will be results, we will let everyone know. He has reached America two-three days ago and so far, he was being prepared for the tests that he has to undergo”.
