QUETTA: Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) president Jam Kamal Khan has said that his party will form a government in Balochistan with the help of coalition partners.
Addressing a press conference in Quetta, he said the newly elected representatives who won the recent election dependently have expressed a desire to join his party and the party leadership is seriously considering their offer.
Kamal expressed satisfaction over the conduct of the general elections.
On this occasion, a newly elected MPA who won the election in independent capacity, announced to join the BAP.
– BAP leads the race with 15 seats in Balochistan –
The recently formed BAP emerged as the largest party in Balochistan by securing 15 seats while the MMA stood second with nine seats.
The BNP, BNP-Awami, Hazara Democratic Party (HDP) mustered six, three and two seats, respectively while the PTI could secure mere four.
The Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) won a single seat and the PML-N could grab only one.
The JWP of Shahzain Bugti won a single seat while five independents also emerged victorious in the province.
