ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will visit Switzerland on Monday to participate in the annual meeting of World Economic Forum in Davos-Klosters.
The prime minister received the invitation from founder and executive chairman Klaus Schwab. The forum will take place from 17-20 January and will be attended by several world leaders including Chinese President Xi Jinping.
PM Sharif is expected to meet several political and business leaders. He will have his first meeting with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. He will also hold a meeting with President of Switzerland Ms. Doris Leuthard.

He is also likely to meet several business delegations and invite them to invest in Pakistan. The forum will bring some of the elite business leaders, international political leaders, selected intellectuals, and journalists to discuss the most pressing issues facing the world.
Former Army Chief General (retd) Raheel Sharif will also be present and speak on several issues including terrorism and the international security challenges.
